Flowers are a wonderful addition to the Easter holiday. The weather is changing, the sun is shining, and everything in the world seems to be growing, colorful, fresh and new. Sometimes the best way to enjoy Easter flowers is just to take a leisurely hike out into nature. Seeing flowers in their natural habitat instantly makes you feel uplifted. Having your very own garden is also a terrific idea. You will have all the beauty of the world in you very own yard… and who couldn’t feel great appreciation for that!
Perhaps, however, you would like to add the beauty of the outdoors to the indoors. Or maybe you would like to give flowers as an Easter gift. Here are some great Easter flower ideas:
Easter Flower Arrangements:
If you like to place a vase full of flowers in your home or give them to a loved one, consider making an Easter flower arrangement. A mixed Easter flower bouquet is vibrant with color and so refreshing. Consider the following Easter flowers to use in your spring arrangement:
- Tulip
- Rose
- Orchid
- Lily
- Cherry blossom
- Daffodil
- Daisy
- Magnolia
- Carnation
- Iris
Take a mixture of any of the above spring flowers and get creative. Use the flowers that appeal to your eye and to your nose (can’t beat the wonderful perfume of a flower). Because it is Easter it would be fun to lay your Easter flower bouquet in a basket. Perhaps place some beautifully decorated eggs in the basket as well.  Even a couple of miniature stuffed Easter toys would be a great addition. If you would like to place your Easter flower arrangement in a vase, you could also place Easter chocolate bunny suckers in the bouquet as well. If you have a flare for crafts and painting, get out those paint brushes and paint your vase with some colorful Easter scenes (and if you are not an artist, use stencils—stencilsearch.com). Your home or your loved one is sure to adore the Easter flower bouquet you have personally, and creatively, arranged.
Have fun with your Easter flowers and Happy Easter!
